What is sourced

Our benchmark sources publish US-market figures; per-country bands with stated methodology and vintage are rare, and until one passes the ledger rule we do not print per-country dollar figures. No padding to a 50-geo table with invented numbers.
Why geo bands differ anyway
Advertiser density, not viewer value. A view clears cheap in a market where fewer advertisers bid, regardless of how engaged the viewer is. Tier-2 market CPVs run below US rates for the same inventory quality; the auction prices competition, and Google publishes the mechanism, not the outcomes Google, Ad tools bidding page, 2026.
Judging an international flight
- Split reporting by geo before computing CPV; a blended international CPV is a mix-shift artifact (same trap as the split test).
- Judge the US line against the US band with the solver.
- Trend non-US lines against their own history, not against the US band.
